Casa Hacienda de San José was built at the beginning of the 17th century and is located in the district of El Carmen - Chincha.
The property passes into the hands of Don Andres de Salazar who receives it as a marriage dowry thanks to the King of Spain Carlos III. Since then, the Salazar family has taken advantage of the fertile lands of the Chincha valley, with sugar cane, corn and cotton being the most outstanding crops in the valley.
